...

my brain is fried and i find myself repeating things a lot lately. could be the onset of older age or the stress of living but it is worrisome. it's harder to keep up with the things that girls keep up with (i'll spare you the details guys).

errands to be run. things to be done. the sun is playing peek-a-boo with my eyes. the energy wanes and i feel as though a marathon has been run using only my lower back. still we push on and on, even when our spirits lag. it must be done...it must.

  1. I know exactly what you're saying. You aren't alone. But you seem to be doing ok. Hope today will be ok. Take care!

  3. Oh, one of those days when so much calls for our attention! I usually tell myself, one thing at a time, pace myself, and still take a little coffee break too!

  4. i know what you mean. at least you keep going. just make sure to take some "you" time - a breather - to balance it all out.

  8. You need to rest. I feel the same way sometimes.

  9. I have been like this for a few weeks, so I can totally empathize with you. When I get really frustrated, I skip words and stumble over words in sentences or forget commonly used words altogether. It's really scary, but I think mine is a result of anxiety spiraled out-of-control.

I thinks lots of us are anxious right now. Money, swine flu, money, money, money, etc.

    It just happened again. Ugh.

We definitely need to focus on the positive. Like your Hampton Inn photos! :D Congrats again!!

  10. Hon, you need to start doing some stretching exercises to relax your back. I've been doing them steadily for twelve years. Especially when you're feeling so stressed. Try this: roll up a bath towel. Lie on your back on the floor. Ease the rolled up towel underneath your back. Try to "roll" your back across the thick towel. It is like a massage in reverse. Except you're giving it to yourself. I do this twice per day. If it hurts too much, try just putting the towel underneath your back and allowing your back to adjust and relax to the form underneath. Breathe into the relaxation, and your body will respond. Hope it's of some help.

  11. Ease up. I know a lot of people say "keep going, you can do it," but I think you need to pull back. Do only the critical things and screw the rest.

  14. The line that resonated with me the most...'i feel as though a marathon has been run using only my lower back'. I'm there weekly...*sigh* Onward, as able. ;-)
