today's gratitude: nature's paintbrush and fall color. today i took a drive along highway 9 and highway 49 to mount cheaha, alabama's highest point. though overcast and gray at the peak, i would enthralled with the golds and reds along the way.
It has been a decade since I saw scenery like this. Makes me happy to see it. Makes me very sad to see it.....I'm just a mess of contradictions the past couple days. : 0
Oh I just love these! And Alabama is obviously just as colorful as New England in the autumn...just about a month later:) Love that 2nd shot especially...
I am grateful for these photos! And the 2nd from the top...oh that curve you captured in the road. I love love love that. Well, I love all of them. xoxo
char -- i am such a fall person. you've made my day with these beautiful S-curve photos disappearing into fall foliage. you have the touch and talent. also, thank you for your sentiments re: my mom and (much potential!) nascent business.
you DID get those fall photos you wanted. incredible color. I wasn't sure if the color would be good this year but it really is magnificient. and I tend to think the overcast days are the best for the color. I like to camp at Cheaha.
Simply gorgeous shots!
ReplyDeleteOMG, those shots especially the top one are my favorite ones that I've seen so far of fall. How utterly gorgeous!
