purple haze

spring has sprung in the fair city and wednesday evening i raced the rainstorm to capture 
the lush and bountiful japanese magnolias that bloom by my office.  
this is my second spring with them and each time i see them in full bloom, 
they take my breath away.

    That's a lot of pink ... and I love it! How I adore Magnolias. One day I'll have one of my own.

    Hard to believe how far ahead of us your weather is. And it's only February! March 1st tomorrow. YaY!!!!

    gorgeous purple. i was so hoping for a sunny weekend so i could finally get out and photograph the blossoms too but it was cloudy and cold.
