bits and pieces

i finally downloaded shots from the camera that i've taken over the past two (or so) weeks.  funny what can happen that short span of time - there's been flowers, family, funerals, and i'm sure other words that start with the sixth letter of the alphabet.  i'll share some of them here....in the meantime, i'm sending sweet wishes for mother's day - i hope yours was as beautiful as mine.  i made pulled pork and banana pudding - nothing fancy really.

i saw "something borrowed" last night with a good friend and her sweet hubby spoiled us with grilled steaks.  we brainstormed over an upcoming photobooth at christy's graduation tea.

  1. Beautiful photos! And how was the movie? We were planning to see it this weekend with my aunt ... but my mom read a review that gave it a half a star and said the people who will actually want to see it are friends and family of those involved in the movie. :)

  3. Your images have such a Springtime essence, I can feel it through them. I did planting with my daughters yesterday, getting our deck pots all set with red geraniums and ponytails. It was the perfect day for it.

You know me, I love to read your posts and the beatiful pictures..I do think I will enjoy the ipod, it's not a phone, but it has a camera and all the bells and whistles. It'll keep me busy for awhile learning about it all. Glad you had a good weekend, we had a great time with the kids.

  12. These are lovely, Char! Your nieces are so cute. My thoughts have been with you and all of Alabama throughout the past week. I extend my condolences, too, on the passing of your uncle. It certainly sounds as if your plate has been very full lately, so thank you for sharing these beautiful images.
