ta-dah!

As two of my friends figured out - I've named my etsy shop...and it's about to be open for business. Sorry none of the names on the list were chosen, it was one of those things that I had to live with and this one came to my sister about four days ago.

Now... to solve the dilemma of the naming drawing. I will put all people, who commented on that blog, names into a hat and let them have their choice of a piece in my etsy shop. There were so many great names - so many creative people.

I'm so excited to have done this...I'm nervous and well, sorta of proud too. I never realized how much goes into it - picking a name, trying to decide what goes into the shop, setting up payments, deciding on printing here or doing it on-line, ahhhh....man - just so much. It's not like Lucy set-up her advice stand now is it?

Bear with me as I work out the kinks...Now I have to quit prancing before I make a fool of myself like Sally Fields on Oscar Night.

  1. The BEST name. EVER! If I ever write that book that niggles at the edge of my dreams, I know where I am coming for help with a title. Congratulations on getting your shop set up. This is going to be a wonderful, wonderful venture. I'm so excited for you.

  5. I was hoping this would happen for you, the name just coming like this. And it's the best.
Yes, it takes a lot to set up the shop, doesn't it?
I love it because it's easy. And when an order comes in, I make sure I already have it uploaded into mpix and then I just order it and drop-ship it to the customer. I love mpix.
I just ordered business cards from them too (to put out at our auction, because I've donated some items) and they're beautiful. Came in two days.
