Your pictures are fantastic...now I'm ashamed of mine! I was there between 1 and 4 yesterday. My granddaughters were with me. If you heard a tired grandmother yelling "don't do that Aubrey and Avery" that would have been me. There were so many people and photographers there weren't there? I love your photo of the Gate. When I downloaded my pictures, I realized the sun was behind it. I'll have to go earlier next time. Let me know when you are coming up sometime and we can meet. I'd love to get the chance to do that.
holy crap....we don't have any gardens around here that even look a tiny bit close to the photos you just shared with us......
and for some reason, not that you asked, the one really grabbing me is the one with the red bridge.....wow, that one is just spectacular....maybe it's the pink trees off setting it ?.....i don't know, but wow !
Stevie - no, yours is great too! I went up about 8:30 in attempts to try and beat the crowd. I basically rolled out of bed, brushed my teeth, threw on some jeans and drove. I will definitely hit you up. I think they are going to be spectacular in about 3 days when all the cherry bloom.
it's funny, i specifically when up to take pictures of the bridge and those shots (i took, oh let's say about 50) are my least favorite. it end up, the hellebore is my favorite. that or the light blue and pink cherry blossom shot.
Okay, Char - the next time i come to Alabama, I'm tagging along with you on a photo shoot and you're going to show me how you take such amazing photographs. The 2nd and 4th photos in your line-up are completely breath-taking.
Unbelievably beautiful! I just love the pink blossoms. Here my white rose trees are blooming in a cascade on my backyard fence and it makes me so happy and content to just look at them :)
Oh yes, I am loving the pagoda with the sun rays, too. And the red bridge. And the cherry blossoms against that beautiful blue sky... Oh, and the hellebore!!! They are all gorgeous, Char! :)
looks like you were in B'ham. these photos are so lovely. you have a special touch with flowers i believe. i had planned on going too but my brother had something else to do so I'm going another weekend. hope i don't miss the blossoms.
