gratitude:: day 26 of 30

i slept in today - a long luxurious sleep. and though i had very weird dreams - i dream a fellow blogger came to visit and she was wearing all red and had a beehive. we went shopping at a retro shop (circa 1960's) and she bought all red accessories for her home. on the way back to my home, she jumped in a swimming pool and dared me to jump in after her...which i did. as i did, the water felt heavy and pushed me down. i had to make an effort to push up...and as i broke the surface of the water, it was good. she disappeared and i fell back into a deep sleep.

sleep is a wonderful thing. i can't wait to hear more about your holiday doings but first i need to run to the grocery to buy supplies for the big game. (alabama vs auburn - major rivals) roll tide!

  6. I thought for a moment that was me...the beehive is pretty much what my hair looks like in the morning...but then all the red, nope, not me.....I'm just not a red girl and rarely do I jump {or dare anyone else to jump} in a pool....now if it had been the ocean, well that would have been me for sure.....

    and that extra sleeping....me too, this morning ! and oh wow, did it feel good !

  7. Are you sure (do to the red and all) that it wasn't me and you thought I was trying to drown you? Please no. I don't wear a beehive, thank goodness. And I know I practically drown folks in the color red on my blog. But I really, really like you! And would never wish you harm. (Did you have a few drinks along with that meal, hon?) Ha!

  13. sleep-ins .... yay!
    i love big games on tv - but am not a sports fan. i like the social aspect of it - having people around, the cheering, and especially the making and eating of finger food.
