gratitude:: day 29 of 30

as the month is winding to a close (last post tomorrow), i am grateful for more than this little blog can contain. it's been a roller coaster ride the past two years, and i guess it may continue along those lines for a bit. the trick is finding a peace and contentment with the ride.

yesterday, while exploring, i found flowering plum trees blooming. in november. that's unheard of really (okay, i've never heard of it anyway). spring flowers so late in the fall. and that's what a sense of contentment will bring for you, the ability to bloom in the oddest of circumstances.

i hope you find that too.

  19. blooming in the oddest of circumstances is such a lovely thought. and reminds me that i saw a canola field beginning to bloom the other day. and that's REALLY out of season. i guess it will be a good illustration for the global warming when COP15 starts here next week...

    i think your 30 gratitudes were much better than my 30 secrets. so much more life affirming. :-)

  20. oh, wow! this and the photo above {of the horse} are so dreamy and magical. i LOVE the processing. you always find the perfect shots to process with that magic touch. i love the framing in the horse pic, too.

    sad to see your gratitude posts end. you've been full of positive and upbeat thoughts, and that is so nice to see. i'm so glad your year has turned around for the better, char. i remember saying back in the spring that good things are to come for you. and i see it happening already. can't wait to see how the coming year unfolds. for both of us!
