i took some photographs yesterday of my pretty, pretty sister - with a couple, we squealed like little girls because we were happy. we learned the trick to portraits is to let the personality shine through. she's rather sassy and saucy that girl. i'm not sharing yet because she hasn't given me permission. and believe me, i don't want my sissy mad at me.
so, i will instead leave you with some shots of the gorgeous property she manages. i think i'm going back today so i can focus on the flowers. yum.
i love red barns and windmills!
ReplyDeleteoh what a great place to work ....enjoy your time snapping away!

such beautiful countryside!
ReplyDeleteit looks like you could have been here in wisconsin with those beautiful shots...
ReplyDeleteand your sassy sister....I can't wait !
I really think adults can let their personality shine through...along with children under the age of 8...but those in between ages are proving difficult !
I just spent the day at my sister's house with tons of people and only the adults over 35 and the kids under 8 wouldn't run from my camera...so my best shots from today are kittens !!
What a beautiful place to work! I hope your sister gives permission, because I'd love to see the portraits. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the hardest part of shooting portraits is making your subjects comfortable enough to let their personalities shine through... I'm really shy, so that is extra hard for me. :)
The barn looks like a painting of a barn! Pretty & idyllic. I fancy the second photograph of the windmill. Love the texture you added. :)
ReplyDeleteGosh you take beautiful photos. I love coming here to see what you snapped next.
