pretty pretty princesses
it's hard to believe that my oldest niece is five. today was her princess birthday and the best cinderella ever came to her party along with her friend belle. the girls were mesmerized. but we adult laughed the entire time - as cinderella was trying to tell her story of meeting her prince, all the girls chimed in on what happened next. i will hand it to her - she had the patience of a saint. both princesses sang songs and totally enchanted the girls.
all in all it was a very wonderful birthday - i was utterly charmed by all the hugs and smiles the princesses gave and how well they played together.

what is it about princesses that make little girls go beserk everytime? but i find that little boys' interests can vary from time to time. love the little princesses here.ReplyDelete
what a cool idea! i've had our fair share of princess parties, but never had grown up princesses there!ReplyDelete
So cute! Such a great idea for a princess party! Sounds like you had a magical time!ReplyDelete
I want to be a princess...at least for a day...but maybe I don't have the patience to be one :)
How sweet! I can imagine their faces when Belle and Cinderella came in!! What a wonderful birthday party- I wish my girls had been a little more girly sometimes, but they were just as happy with boy things as girl things..there was never any desire for princess dresses really....enjoy this time with your niece, it goes so fast!!ReplyDelete
Oh that is so special.ReplyDelete
Every girl has to be a princess at least one time.
Oh, so sweet!ReplyDelete
I've never heard of actual princesses arriving at a party ... what a wonderful surprise for the girls there. They must've been entranced!ReplyDelete

Holy Disney! Your niece is one lucky little girl. I've heard of Princess themed parties but never with two REAL princesses arriving in full regalia. ;)ReplyDelete
love this!!! may the princess fantasies and fun last FOREVER!!!ReplyDelete
Oh what a beautiful party!!! These are some of the joys I missed in having only boys...perhaps one day there will be granddaughters! :)ReplyDelete
OH WOW, I would have gone nuts over that when I was little. Actually at 31, I still kinda dig the princesses...namely Snow White. Ah ha haReplyDelete
oh how sweet they all look, especially the birthday girl. I bet the girls will remember that party for years to come, and I bet you had fun too.ReplyDelete
i had a Cinderella birthday when i was about her age.
Looking back, I wish that I had had a princess birthday, just once. I never even dressed as one on Halloween...was always the ghost, or witch. Never a princess. Can adults have parties like this too?
I bet it was a party that none of the little girls will ever forget. Every girl dreams of being a princess.ReplyDelete
Oh how lovely to see all the big and little princess :)ReplyDelete
