I love film noir....dames and bullets, a mystery...something to figure out, moody men and grain.

I especially love that they are anonymous - to me, that is the truest act of charity not to bring glory to themselves, but to brighten the days of others. It make me just happy all over to watch this.

ReplyDeletedang it. i am having computer fits and can't see the vid. i will have to come back for this. and love the top pic! and film noir. :)
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of Grey Street Girl and her acts of kindness.
ReplyDeleteLove that image in bw.
I love film noir too. And reading Raymond Chandler. The men were so cool and the women were so sexy-but-classy.
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture.
That video has just made my day.
It reminds me of a lot of people that do acts of kindness every day without anyone ever knowing.
ReplyDeleteI think that should be part of the definition of kindness, that element of anonymity that makes it all the more special.
ReplyDeleteexactly Joanne - to me it shows that you're doing it for another and not yourself. It was very inspiring to me.
ReplyDeleteLove that video! I had a co-worker deposit money in my account at the school cafeteria,... now I'm thinking of what I'll do for my "random act"... it's fun and it will put sunshine in my heart as well as the heart of the one one the receiving end.
ReplyDelete..what a wonderful video...now I'm thinking what can my next act of random kindness be...
ReplyDeleteThis is so inspiring and so incredibly lovely....thank you for sharing it and thank you for you sweet comment over on ML today!

This is really so touching. I always think of my Dad when I think of acts of charity. He is the guy who puts a quarter in a meter that is about to expire, who pays for the person that's behind him the toll.
ReplyDeleteOH! I love it. I think I am going to have to start a project like this with my students. YES!
