I'm out of words today. All out of words. But spring is approaching - I will let Thoreau say it best, "As every season seems best to us in its turn, so the coming in of spring is like the creation of Cosmos out of Chaos and the realization of the Golden Age.*"
Time changes already this weekend...how did this come so very fast?
* "Walden, Chapter 17 - Spring"
beautiful photos, the first one looks like a painting.
ReplyDeleteThe time change can't come soon enough for me!
aw, silence is golden so don't fret. i'm sure you'll have more to say when you are ready!
ReplyDeleteThe sprigs in my yard send their best across the continent to yours. In the midst of crazy dark I almost feel like whistling.
ReplyDeleteyou didn't need any words...as those photos are perfect just by themselves !
ReplyDeletebeautiful words, beautiful photos - spring is a beautiful time.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is fast becoming my daily pick me up.
ReplyDeleteThe sunset in the third pic especially is just beautiful.
Your loss for words is our gain. These images are very soothing.
ReplyDeleteBut now I guess I also have to come to grips with an hour of less sleep. But more sunshine. That will be worth it.
i don't think words are always necessary - the photos are beautiful on their own.
ReplyDeletewho needs words when you have photography like that. =]
ReplyDeleteSometimes I am also out of words. It's still cold here in Maryland but it's supposed to go up to 50 or so this weekend. This morning it was 5 degrees, but I don't think it's that bad.
ReplyDeleteAs always, lovely photographs. I sighed a big sigh just opening up your page and looking at them.
Quiet is peaceful,.... enjoy some well deserved peaceful time. We'll be here when you are ready!
ReplyDeletePurty. Especially the first one. Words aren't everything, after all...
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is so beautiful; would make a great wall mural, Char. :)

ReplyDeletelove the third photo.
ReplyDeletesilhouettes and sunsets are the best.

ReplyDeletewow ...the second one ...fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh...you already have Spring...
ReplyDeleteBY THE WAY!
I gave you a blog award, come to my blog to check it out! =)
Such beautiful photos -- they hardly need any words. I can see that spring is quite a bit farther along down there than it is up north. Thank you for sharing such beautiful images -- they warm my heart!
ReplyDeleteyour use of texture here is awesome... I'm especially in love with that last one. Stay warm through this last of it!
ReplyDeleteThoreau always nails it for me wen i can't find the words to say it myself. But he was a hopeless photographer, I believe. These shots are warming and wonderful.
