'climb the mountains and get their good tidings. nature's peace will flow into you
as sunshine flows into trees. the winds will blow their own freshness into you,
and the storms their energy, while care will drop off like autumn leaves.' ~ john muir

Beautiful photo and beautiful uplifting quote! :)
ReplyDeletei've been to muir woods before but not with enough time to explore (i was on a banking trip and was in high heels) - the scent was heavenly as soon as i opened the car door.
ReplyDeletethe road to get there is sorta scary!
I like that first line, "climb the mountains and get their good tidings." It reminds me of sitting on top of Clingman's Dome in the Smoky Mountains.
ReplyDeleteA man that was happier in the woods and nature than anywhere else. Lovely quote.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of care dropping off like autumn leaves, what a nice feeling :)
