what a quote. i'm still pondering if i agree with it—but it gets you thinking none the less.i do love both words."one for sorrow, two for joy."
Loving the photo!
I think it helps to remind us when we are in those moments of sorrow that joy is always around the corner. Cannot have one without the other I suppose. I just hope that joy doesn't sleep to long when sorrow is awake. In any case, have a joyful week ahead.
Georgia - I'm not sure either, but like Leigh says - I think it's just a reminder that knowing either can be around the corner. DC - Thanks!Leigh - I think if Joy gets lazy and stays in bed, we have to wake it up! :)
amazing my dear...photo and quote...wow. xo
Ghilbran makes everything sound beautiful, even if it is not easy.Where on earth (literally) did you take that wonderful photo?
isn't that a fun find? it was random graffiti downtown.
ahh, but now... was it really random?;-)
well it was random to me...maybe to them?
I'm in aggreement with Leigh... at the bottom there is only height. As many of us experienced this year, joy is only just around the corner... this sorrow is short-lived.amazing photo char
Interesting observation...something I need to keep in mind.
what a great quote - really gives us something to think about. I love the photo too.I hope JOY is your closest friend in the New Year.I want to thank you for all the kind comments you have left on my blog - I appreciate it more than you can possibly know. I have been a bad blogger friend - I feel so bad that I have been away so long and I'm having a hard time catching up with it all. I look forward to spending 2009 with you.
i feel as if each comment was between us as we sat and sipped something warm....i love to hear what you're thinking.
