moved in

I'm getting settled in the spot - comfy and cozy are just around the corner I know. The cat is freaked to the nth degree and is very unhappy with me currently. He didn't come out for his evening nosh.

There are a few odds and ends left to do, but as many of you pointed out - the day came and went, regardless if I was ready or not.

I survived. *smile*

More stories from the warfront later.

  1. so good to hear from you. i trust all went well and you're getting settled. kitty will come out when he's hungry enough and he'll get used to his new surroundings in no time I'm sure.

computer must be all hooked up - that's a comforting thing

  2. Glad to know the internet works and you can still connect with us weirdos out here!

Also, glad to know that you made it in one piece and that there was not any major to-dos...

  3. Our cat wouldn't talk to us for two whole days after we moved in June. When we moved just 3 months later, it was a little better. She's happier here anyway.
Glad to see you're settling in!! Been thinking about you. Internet is on and that, a bed and some coffee are all you need at first. Right?

  8. Your cat will love you again at mealtime, and forgive you a little later. Congratulations. Moving just sucks, no way around it.

I'm off for two days at the hot springs, no phone, no computer, and no spam. Plan to take yourself to such a place when the dust settles.

  9. Put your feet up, take a deep breath and have a cup of tea (or something stronger). Kitty will come out when he gets hungry enough. Glad to hear everything went well. :)

  13. it's just so endearing.. how you accept situations as they come and go oh so easily. I think you're one of the most resilient personalities I've known.

    So glad I found ramblins..

    Goodnight char...

  16. Glad to hear you're moved in! Though I'm sure there'll be lots of adjusting still ahead.
I don't know if you just added the quotation to your profile or if I'm just now noticing it but I love it. Reminds me of the myth of Persephone.
